Zoom advanced teeth whitening at the crofts dental practice, epping.
Zoom Advanced Laser Tooth Whitening is the most advanced tooth whitening system available today. Zoom takes approximately 1 hour to whiten teeth by an average of 8 shades.
The Zoom Advanced Power Whitening procedure is simple. It begins with a short preparation to isolate your lips and gums. We then apply the Zoom Advanced Power Whitening Gel , which is activated by a specially designed light.
Here are some examples of the results obtained.

Home Whitening Kits
As well as complementing laser whitening, we also provide home whitening kits for those patients who wish to achieve their whitening results over a longer period. These kits consist of two customised trays specially designed to hold the bleaching gel in the right place over your front and side teeth. We make one for the upper teeth and another for the lowers.
With laser whitening, we will isolate your gums and lips with a protective material in to avoid any potential damage and burning of your soft tissue. It is for this reason that the home whitening kits have a lower concentration peroxide gel to minimise the chances of any burning at home.
High strength home whitening kits can be purchased online and from certain stores but these may increase the chances of burning. Teeth whitening is a procedure that should always be carried out under the supervision of a dentist.
Special considerations about tooth whitening.
There are some instances when a dentist may recommend that you don’t have bleaching. For example, if you have tooth decay, this should be treated before starting any whitening treatments. Similarly, your gums should be healthy, so if you have any gum disease this should be treated before beginning any whitening procedures. If your teeth are extremely sensitive to hot and cold food or drinks, bleaching may not be recommended.
Bleaching won’t work on false teeth, crowns, veneers or fillings (including tooth coloured fillings). Instead we may be able to replace these with lighter ones.
Bleaching isn’t usually recommended for children whose teeth are still developing or for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
