Feeling anxious about visiting the dentist?
We understand that you may feel nervous, worried or just plain afraid before a visit to the dentist but we are here to help you with that. The Crofts Dental Team has established an excellent reputation for helping nervous patients rebuild their confidence and even to enjoy visiting our practice- something that before would have seemed impossible. We take pride in our gentle and caring approach and will do our utmost to help you feel relaxed and at ease.
If you are nervous, please call our reception and let them know. They will set aside longer for your appointment to help you feel at ease. Often the dentist will talk to you away from the chair to help you feel more at ease and to explain how the treatment will proceed. We often find that effective communication is a large part of the process of allaying any concerns or dears you may have. We also strongly believe that it is best to proceed in stages. If you haven’t been for a while and need several fillings, we would only do a maximum of one filling on your first visit is that you can go home and reflect on a positive experience, thereby restoring your confidence.
If you haven’t been to see a dentist for a while, please give us a call and let us help you. Failure to come regularly could mean that a small easily treatable problem could become much worse and more expensive to treat in the long term.
